Recipe Box #1

4 eggs
1/2 C water
1/2 C milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 C flour
2 tsp baking powder

Mix all ingredients together and fill Ableskiver hold about 3/4 full of batter/ When bubbly in the middle and slightly crisp on the edges use a fork to flip.

Critique:
This was really good. Very light and fluffy mix. I wouldn't suggest filling the holes quite that full. About half is good for a begginer. There is an art to fliping an ableskiver. Videos to come to show you how!

Kitchen Window

After the my first day at school we, being my dad and stepmom, went to celebrate our new endever by eating dinner at, Il Gatto in Up Town. The restraunt its self was delisious but the Kitchen Window was much better. This store is full of all the things one will ever need to have a sucessful kichen. Including and Aebleskiver pan. I think it is importand to explain what an Aebleskiver is. Aebleskivers are little balls that taste like a cross between a waffel and a pancake. And when cooked correctly they have little pockets in the middle that are perfect for stuffing yummies into. Originaly a breakfast food it would seem as though they can be served with or as any meal. This blog will be about the Aebleskiver endevers that our mixed family that we like to call "Oinedstromhamerstead and some time Adams" family unit. We will be bringing you all different types of ways to make and stuff them. There will be "Recipe Box" Posts and posts of how we got the ideas and what we think of them. We all really hope you will enjoy it! And bring this fantastic dish to your family!
